Training in local university to address domestic violence
In October the Intervention Change Education and Service (ICES) project addressing domestic violence in the department of Estelí imparted a training course to students of psychology and social work of the local campus of Nicaragua’s National Autonomous University. The course included both local workshops and on line exchanges with educators from the United States. We are very grateful to Dr. Luz López of Boston University and to Lyn Styczinski and Len Greenberg, as well as Maestra Aracely Barreda and her team from the UNAN for their indispensable support for this important training program
