Medical brigade to Pueblo Nuevo, September 2026

On September 5th in coordination with the local Health Ministry (MINSA) and the municipal health center in Pueblo Nuevo, Superemos organized a medical brigade including the natural medicine team form our Lluvias de Amor program which for this activity included four natural medicine practitioners (who are also licensed general medicine practitioners). Working with the MINSA personnel the activity provided care to 279 patients including 75 general medicine consultations, 55 dental treatments and 62 natural medicine consultations. MINSA personnel carried out 85 breast ultrasounds for women patients and 87 general ultrasounds and also carried out 30 papanicolau exams. We are very grateful to the Ministry of Health for making possible this activity which contributes greatly to the welfare of local communities in Pueblo Nuevo which is a large town about an hour and a half’s drive north of the city of Estelí.
