Superemos has always prioritized education for women from low-income families.

Since 2000, the Estelí Women's School has offered various 
adult baccalaureate courses, all supervised by the Ministry of Education.

Women-only baccalaureate programs (in line with our mission; found to be performance enhancing in our community)

Free transport to their barrio each night for their safety

Workshops on life-skills and health care

Personal development classes covering issues like reproductive health, women’s rights, gender and domestic violence

Health care services provided in partnership with a physician at the local health center.

 

More than 60 women obtain scholarship-sponsored education in a women's only evening baccalaureate program.
