Activities of the Estelí Women’s School in September
During the month of September, the Estelí Women’s School continued its academic activities including individual evaluations, teamwork, and creative and recreational experiences both inside and outside the classroom. Additionally, as a fundamental part of their personal and professional development, students took part in a culinary activity in which they were asked to prepare a traditional Nicaraguan dish. Afterwards, they had to describe the dish and explain its nutritional characteristics. Participants received positive feedback from the facilitating teachers, who expressed satisfaction with their students’ application and commitment . Another activity in which the students participated was the Knowledge Olympiad, organized by the local Ministry of Education office where the participants presented their research projects. The main themes of the projects were Nicaraguan legends and folktales. This activity had a very positive impact highlighting the country’s culture and history.
