ICES program community visits
The project continues its community visits, conducting educational talks on topics such as the importance of reflection, positive attitude, self-care, and mental, physical, and emotional health. Our psychologists and social worker provided psychosocial and psychological support following up current patients as well as attending to new cases.
Additionally, as part of contributing to the knowledge of students from CUR-Estelí, the collaborators from the domestic violence prevention team and psychotherapists Lyn Styczinski and Len Greenberg facilitated the final class of the Integral Dimensions course, addressing topics of sexual abuse with a therapeutic and multidisciplinary approach. These seminars involved the active participation of students and facilitators from the Regional University Center – Estelí, and we plan to continue this course next year.
