Local Medical Brigade in Limay

The health project visited the municipality of Limay in August in order to participate and support the medical brigade organized by the Health Ministry (MINSA) departmental health authority for Estelí. The team from Fundación Superemos provided support taking details of patients and ensuring they received their prescribed medicine. Most of the patients were elderly with various chronic conditions. The medical brigade, consisting of a variety of MINSA’s medical specialists, with x-ray, ultrasound and laboratory support, saw a total of around 650 patients.
