ICES program addressing domestic violence activities in April

The ICES program continues to develop its outreach work successfully in rural communities around Estelí and in the municipalities of La Trinidad and San Nicolas. Currently the team consists of program coordinator and social worker Jailenne Herrera, psychologist Marisel Olivas and educator Gladys Ruiz González. We are in the process of recruiting another psychologist. Through March and April the ICES team has continued its education activities as well as following up patients identified by this years medical brigade from Dot House Health in Boston as needing care as a result of possible domestic abuse.
