Global Health Exchanges Medical Brigade visits El Sauce

In October, Superemos facilitated a medical brigade of 14 health professionals and health promoters of teh Global Health Exchanges organization based in Alaska. The team worked for three days in the ”Coronel Santos López” hospital in the rural town of El Sauce in the department of León. The brigade focused on providing pediatric, family medicine and dental hygiene care and served a total of just over 300 children and over 400 adults. We very much appreciate this medical care on the part of Global Health Exchanges in support of the local Health Ministry’s program of care for local families in the rural areas around El Sauce.
