Activities of the project against domestic violence during the month of August

The project began in August with a session with the team of health workers from the rural communities of the municipality of San Nicolás, taught by Phd. Luz López and the ICES team (Karen Villarreyna and Jailenne Herrera) in order to strengthen the capacities to identify different cases that arise in the medical consultation. that later allow them to refer to psychological/psychosocial care.

Also during the month they held talks at the health posts addressing issues about the effects on family and personal substance use, as well as offering a workshop at the Puertas Azules school on self-care and prevention of sexual abuse from self-recognition
